Dave has an extensive occupational health & safety and environmental management background with 22 years of experience, as a SHE Manager of one of the biggest educational groups in the UK. He has also had extensive experience in bringing companies into a state of environmental, safety and health compliance

He holds a B.Ed, five related Post Grad’s Diplomas, a Chartered Member of IOSH and is an IOSH Mentor. Also, he is a principal/lead auditor for ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) 45001 (Health and safety) and 9001 (Quality)

Dave is a very keen leader/tutor in survival and living off the land. For the last 20 years, he has delivered courses for novices to experienced outdoor leaders.

Dave has a positive can-do attitude to life and totally believes that mankind needs a good kick up the backside to sort out what are doing to the planet.
